Tampa Bay Entrance is a bay entrance between Anna Maria Island and Egmont Key on the west-central Florida coast, leading from the Gulf of Mexico through the Egmont Channel into Tampa Bay. The tide is mixed and small, with a mean range of 1.52 ft (0.46 m) at the Egmont Key station.
