Mobile Bay Entrance is a bay entrance between Dauphin Island and Mobile Point on the Alabama coast, leading from the Gulf of Mexico through the Main Pass into Mobile Bay and the Port of Mobile. The tide is predominantly diurnal and small, with a mean range of 1.18 ft (0.36 m) at the Dauphin Island station.
