Admiralty Inlet is a tidal strait between Marrowstone Island and Whidbey Island on the south side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the principal tidal entrance to Puget Sound. The tide is mixed semidiurnal, with a mean range of 5.34 ft (1.63 m) at the Port Townsend station.
